A year after drafting Connor Bedard with the first pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, the Chicago Blackhawks continue to reap off-ice benefits. Despite finishing last in the standings, Bedard’s arrival led to a league-high 22% increase in total ticket sales and a jump in home attendance from 24th to 5th in the NHL. Bedard’s jersey became the top-seller, and TV viewership on NBC Sports Chicago rose by 35%. The team sold 50% more full season-ticket packages and now boasts a 97% renewal rate.(Source:FOS)
